AI Marketing Diagnostic Suite

WriterRenea Multimedia2024–Present

Founder & Systems Architect, WriterRenea Multimedia, 2024–Present.

The situation

Marketing teams kept asking whether AI would replace them. The real question — which specific tasks should stay human — had no shared vocabulary and no way to measure an answer.

What I built

An 18-category AI marketing audit with a five-stage maturity model, plus two interactive diagnostics: The Amplification Rubric™, which plots amplification against judgment, and an industry disruption map applying the Stanford Human Agency Scale to marketing functions.

Result

A diagnostic product line that turns an abstract anxiety into a scored, prioritized 90-day action plan.

Spinning a Nonprofit Out of a Brand

blendVET Foundation2026

Social media and marketing client manager, blendVET Foundation, 2026. Nonprofit, 501(c)(3), veterinary career pathways.

The situation

blendVET began as a continuing education company serving practicing veterinary professionals. Founded by Dr. Niccole Bruno, it had spent years building an audience of credentialed clinicians who came for professional development. The foundation was a different animal. Launched as a separate 501(c)(3), its mission was building veterinary career pathways for K-12 students, which meant parents, teachers, school districts, volunteers and donors rather than DVMs earning credits.

Nonprofit separation meant the foundation could not inherit the parent company's audience, so new social media accounts were launched for the blendVET Foundation. New handles, new pages, no followers. The blendVET entity stayed focused on professional development for veterinary professionals, and the foundation leveraged that relationship for veterinary industry sponsorship and volunteer recruitment.

What I built

I built the social media growth strategy and analysis, amplified by AI, then wrote and designed the storytelling posts: volunteer recruitment and event announcements, sponsor recognition, VETtalks and VETVillage, and the Youth Pathways event launch for community audience growth.

Result

Grew sevenfold in six months with no paid spend, a 625% increase on LinkedIn.

Story beat recruitment throughout. The highest-performing posts on all three channels put a student, the founder or a single moment at the center instead of an ask. Source: Metricool, Jan. 1 to Aug. 31, 2026.

stage commercialization model

From Innovation to Commercial Adoption

WriterRenea Multimedia2024–Present

Fractional Commercialization Strategist, WriterRenea Multimedia, 2024–Present.

The situation

A health technology company had a cognitive screening product nearing readiness and no commercial path behind it. The instinct was to start marketing. The prior question, who buys this first and what problem they are paying to solve, had no agreed answer.

What I built

An eight-stage commercialization model running from market validation through positioning, commercial infrastructure, activation, qualified conversations, pilots, conversion and scale. Marketing sits inside that line as one function. I paired it with a reverse funnel that sets the revenue target first and solves backward for the accounts, conversations and demonstrations required to reach it, plus 10 discovery questions the CEO answers before any budget is allocated to a channel.

Result

An investment scoped against pipeline stages rather than channel spend for precise ROI.

learners at 95% satisfaction

A Learning Platform Built From Zero

MJH Life Sciences2021–2024

Director, Education Communications Strategy, MJH Life Sciences, 2021–2024.

The situation

A national veterinary media brand needed to become a learning destination rather than a publisher. There was no platform, no accreditation workflow and no way to prove educational impact to sponsors. Producing accredited education at volume carries its own tension, because scientific rigor, faculty schedules, sponsor interests and regulatory compliance rarely survive the same deadline intact.

What I built

The platform, architected end to end on Thought Industries: content taxonomy, learner journeys, accreditation compliance workflow and the measurement layer connecting completion data to sponsor reporting. Then the production system that fed it, spanning faculty recruitment, editorial governance, creative and compliance review, coordinating 500+ key opinion leaders across veterinary and dental specialties.

Result

150,000+ veterinary professionals served at 95% year-over-year satisfaction, with 1,000+ hours of accredited education produced annually and accreditation standing intact.

One Brand, Thirteen Hospitals

MedVet2019–2020

Regional Marketing Communications Director, MedVet, 2019–2020.

The situation

Thirteen emergency and specialty hospitals across five states, each with its own referral relationships, market dynamics, and local reputation — and a brand that needed to hold across all of them.

What I built

A regional marketing structure balancing system-level brand consistency with market-specific campaigns, plus referral communications built for the veterinarians who send cases rather than the clients who receive care.

Result

Referral growth, client engagement, and community visibility supported across the full network without flattening local identity.

Building Thought Leadership

Quantum Health · MJH Life Sciences · WriterRenea2018–Present

Ghostwriter and editor across executive communications, veterinary trade media and accredited continuing education.

The situation

Subject-matter authority rarely arrives ready to publish. Executives, clinicians and researchers hold the insight. What lands in my inbox is a draft with the argument buried on page four, or a calendar invite and no draft at all.

What I built

Two practices running side by side. Ghostwriting, where I develop the argument and the voice from interviews and source material: CEO messaging, book chapters, bylined articles, internal employee communications. Editing, where an expert's draft becomes publishable: accredited continuing education content, conference proceedings, feature articles, association bylines. Both run through the same standards, including verification against primary sources and, for CE, accreditation review before release.

Result

Work published under other people's names in veterinary trade media, association journals, consumer pet health platforms and RACE-approved CE.

Lifecycle Communications at Scale

Bread Financial2017–2018

Marketing Manager, Cardmember Communications Strategy, Bread Financial, 2017–2018.

The situation

Cardmember communications had to work identically well for 160 retail brands with wildly different customers, voices, and margins — without building 160 versions of everything.

What I built

A lifecycle marketing and customer communications architecture: a shared strategic spine with defined brand-level variation points, yielding 160 white label strategies off one system instead of 160 separate builds.

Result

Adopted across 160 national brands.

YoY e-commerce growth

The Netflix Model for Librarians

Media Source / Junior Library Guild2016–2017

Marketing Director, Media Source / Junior Library Guild, 2016–2017.

The situation

A subscription book service for 200,000+ librarians was selling like a catalog when its actual value was curation — the same insight that made streaming work.

What I built

Repositioning and an e-commerce experience built around curated discovery rather than SKU browsing, with the subscription relationship as the product.

Result

3x year-over-year e-commerce growth across an audience of 200,000+ librarians.

Marketing a $3B Division

Covetrus / Henry Schein Animal Health2007–2016

Senior Communications Director, Marketing & Media Services, Covetrus / Henry Schein Animal Health, 2007–2016.

The situation

Enterprise animal health distribution spans thousands of products, hundreds of manufacturer partners, and a 450-person sales organization — all of which need marketing to speak with one voice.

What I built

The enterprise marketing communications function, running from national trade show conferences to e-commerce and sales enablement. Brand strategy, product launch architecture, advertising, public relations and executive communications, with a $1M advertising portfolio managed against it and a 40-foot island exhibit anchoring the national show presence.

Result

Nine years of enterprise marketing leadership for a $3B Fortune 500 animal health business.

The Product Information Platform

Covetrus / Henry Schein Animal Health2007–2016

Senior Communications Director, Marketing & Media Services, Covetrus / Henry Schein Animal Health, 2007–2016.

The situation

Product data lived in a dozen places, which meant every catalog, every web page, and every campaign started with reconciliation instead of creative.

What I built

Implementation of a $250K product information management platform centralizing data for 20,000+ products, with governance defining ownership at each field.

Result

Multichannel go-to-market execution accelerated because the data stopped being the bottleneck.

Editor-in-Chief / Senior Communications Director, Covetrus / Henry Schein Animal Health, 2007–2016.

The situation

Twenty-two annual veterinary publications reaching 100,000+ readers, each with its own audience, advertiser base, and editorial calendar — on budget and on deadline, every time.

What I built

The publishing operation behind a monthly and triannual magazine portfolio. Editorial thought leadership planning, issue bookmaps and layout, an annual product guide, and monthly creative production delivered on deadline and on budget. The same portfolio carried $1M in advertising sales to 100,000+ B2B readers.

Result

22 publications produced annually for 100,000+ readers across nine consecutive years.

Campaigns for Global Animal Health Brands

Covetrus / Henry Schein Animal Health2007–2016

Senior Communications Director, Marketing & Media Services, Covetrus / Henry Schein Animal Health, 2007–2016.

The situation

Manufacturer partners each arrived with their own brand standards and channel expectations, and each expected the distributor's audience to feel like their own.

What I built

Co-developed campaigns for Abbott, Boehringer Ingelheim, Ceva, Merial, and Zoetis, plus the launch of the company's own social media presence from scratch.

Result

Manufacturer campaigns delivered at brand standard while building the distributor's independent channel authority.

The Private Label Rebrand

Covetrus / Henry Schein Animal Health2007–2016

Senior Communications Director, Marketing & Media Services, Covetrus / Henry Schein Animal Health, 2007–2016.

The situation

A private label portfolio of 13,000+ products had accumulated inconsistent brand and trade dress over years of expansion, undermining the premium positioning it was meant to support.

What I built

A brand and trade dress system rolled across the full portfolio — architecture, hierarchy rules, and packaging standards designed to survive future SKU growth.

Result

13,000+ products brought under a single coherent private label identity.
